Give a Mac OS look to your Desktop with RocketDock

RocketDock helps many PC owners who envy Mac OS users for its Mac Os Dock: the famous graphical user interface feature which consists in an ingenious little bar of animated icons at the bottom of each Mac. This is a bar normally found at the edge of the screen with a see-through background and a row of animated zooming fancy looking icons:

So now with RocketDock, also Windows users can tweak their desktop with this very fancy looking application - and for free.
As to its functionality, the dock presents you with applications’ animated shortcuts that you can arrange and customise. To add an item into RocketDock you only have to drag and drop it from anywhere (desktop, Explorer window, Quick Launch Bar, the Start Menu). With RocketDock you also have Docklets that is little routines that can meter your RAM usage as well as the measure of the capability of Recycle Bin. Again to add Docklets you simply drop them in the RocketDock Docklets folder C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Docklets\
As to the style, obviously you can change the theme (and you can add even more skins), plus you can choose how transparent the background is by selecting its opacity. You can also customise font, colour, style and size, plus you can decide the outline/shadow colour and opacity.
RocketDock is released under Creative Commons Public License and runs in Windows 2000/XP/2003, needs at least a 500Mhz CPU and 10MB RAM: as usual fancy stuff are costly in terms of resources.
